During this take down process your hair might get a little tangled, but there are methods that you can use to solve this problem.
Nasty build-up collect overtime with protective styles, and it depends on how long you have your box braids in. Also, keep in mind that protective styles tuck your hair away which prevents your natural hair from shedding. So in this process you will be see a lot shedding which is natural.
